Group Annuity Data Analyst

Job Description

  • Work within a dynamic environment where you are encouraged to aid in process improvement and work with autonomy
  • Develop processes and procedures for annuity/reinsurance administration support
  • Maintain and develop internal relationships
  • Input and analyze group annuity data
  • Resolve internal and external queries in a professional manner
  • Reconcile monthly reports with membership data and payments

Must have

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics
  • Excellent working knowledge using VBA , Python and R Programming
  • Experience with End User Reporting Tools (ex. Tableau)
  • Other programming skills considered an asset ie. SQL
  • Strong Teamwork and Collaboration Skills
  • Analytical Thinking

Nice to have

  • Knowledge in Building, Documenting and Assessing Processes
  • Actuarial or pension knowledge/experience
  • Knowledge of Factors Affecting Annuity/Reinsurance

Identifies and collects data sources, analyzes and extracts key data and information, evaluates and monitors data quality to meet the organization's information system needs and requirements. Applies complete knowledge, skills, and practices to perform assignments.
